Teaching Philosophy
Teach and learning are two of the most important activities most people will ever engage in. I wan my students to be able to recognize connections, to apply their knowledge, to develop critical thinking skills, and to learn something about themselves at the same time.
Each student deserves equal opportunities to learn. Within my classroom I will strive to reach out to all of my students to use a variety of classroom techniques to relate to different learning styles and student experiences.
As an educator I believe that the capacity to grow in wisdom, as well as a person, is what makes each person unique.
Creating an active, exciting learning community is one of my mail goals as an educator.
Hands-on learning is a strategy that I will use in my classroom. I believe that every child learns from doing hands-on activities.
"If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn."
